Telephone line Based Audio Muting and Light-On Circuit. Very often when enjoying music or watching TV at high audio level, we may not be able to hear a telephone ring and thus miss an important incoming phone call. To overcome this situation, the circuit presented here can be used. The circuit would automatically light a bulb on arrival of a telephone ring and simultaneously mute the music system/TV audio for the duration the telephone handset is off-hook. Lighting of the bulb would not only indicate an incoming call but also help in locating the telephone during darkness.

On arrival of a ring, or when the handset is off-hook, the inbuilt transistor of IC1 (opto-coupler) conducts and capacitor C1 gets charged and, in turn, transistor T1 gets forward biased. As a result, transistor T1 conducts, causing energisation of relays RL1, RL2, and RL3. Diode D1 connected in antiparallel to inbuilt diode of IC1, in shunt with resistor R1, provides an easy path for AC current and helps in limiting the voltage across inbuilt diode to a safe value during the ringing. (The RMS value of ring voltage lies between 70 and 90 volts RMS.) Capacitor C1 maintains necessary voltage for continuously forward biasing  transistor T1 so that the relays are not energised during the negative half cycles and off-period of ring signal. Once the handset is picked up, the relays will still remain energised because of low impedance DC path available (via cradle switch and handset) for the in-built diode of IC1. 

After completion of call when handset is placed back on its cradle, the low-impedance path through handset is no more available and thus relays RL1 through RL3 are deactivated. As shown in the figure, the energised relay RL1 switches on the light, while energisation of relay RL2 causes the path of TV speaker lead to be opened. (For dual-speaker TV, replace relay RL2 with a DPDT relay of 6V, 200 ohm.) Similarly, energisation of DPDT relay RL3 opens the leads going to the speakers and thus mutes both audio speakers. Use ‘NC’ contacts of relay RL3 in series with speakers of music system and ‘NC’ contacts of RL2 in series with TV speaker. Use  ‘NO’ con-tact of relay RL1 in series with a bulb to get the visual indication.

Perhaps the surround amplifier circuit below is an interesting circuit is made. For, making easy just by using the IC and electrolytic capacitor added 1 , we already can hear the strains of music with sound ( Front Left ,Right and surround Right , Left. In addition to listening to music , this amplifier is also very suitable for gamers who want good sound quality.
Minimum voltage requred 9 volts and maximum of 15 volts. Power Output of each speaker 10 Watt with 4 ohm impedance.

This series is not my original project, I trace the series of files and program from the internet, there is no chance the program listing. when I download the file to its hex-hour direct approach. This clock only displays hours and minutes, to seconds but you'll install the led associated with a series of I Hz oscillator formed from IC 555 (which I do, because I do not recognize the program listing).

a pair of led in parallel and installed as a bookmark seconds. Led to two installed in the middle of the hours and minutes. though with the approach that seconds and minutes if observed (calculated) decline slightly however i am not the problem, Moreover individuals won't understand it.

Battery Charger using Photo Voltaic


This is the circuit diagram of rechargable battery charger which use solar cell / photovoltaic as the DC source. This circuit works to charge 3 types of rechargable batteries that are lead acid, Ni-Cd and Li-ion. The lead-acid batteries are generally utilized in emergency lamps and UPS. The photovoltaic module or solar cell explained in this post is capable of producing a power of 5 watts. At full sunlight, the solar cell outputs 16.5V. It can deliver a current of 300-350 mA.

How the circuit works?
The working of the circuit is quite simple. The output of the solar panel is fed via diode 1N5402 (D1), which acts as a polarity guard and protects the solar panel. An ammeter is connected in series between diode D1 and fuse to measure the current flowing during charging of the batteries. As shown in Image #1, we have used an analogue multimeter in 500mA range. Diode D2 is used for protection against reverse polarity in case of wrong connection of the lead-acid battery. When you connect wrong polarity, the fuse will blow up.
For charging a lead-acid battery, shift switch S1 to ‘on’ position and use connector ‘A.’ After you connect the battery, charging starts from the solar panel via diode D1, multimeter and fuse. Note that pulsating DC is the best for charging lead-acid batteries. If you use this circuit for charging a lead-acid battery, replace it with a normal pulsating DC charger once a week. Keep checking the water level of the leadacid battery. Pure DC voltage normally leads to deposition of sulphur on the plates of lead-acid batteries.

For charging Ni-Cd cells, shift switches S1 and S3 to ‘on’ position and use connector ‘B.’ Regulator IC 7806 (IC1) is wired as a constantcurrent source and its output is taken from the middle terminal (normally grounded). Using this circuit, a constant current goes to Ni-Cd cell for charging. A total of four 1.2V cells are used here. Resistor R2 limits the charging current.
For charging Li-ion battery (used in mobile phones), shift switches S1 and S2 to ‘on’ position and use connector ‘C.’ Regulator IC 7805 (IC2) provides 5V for charging the Li-ion battery. Using this circuit, you can charge a 3.6V Li-ion cell very easily. Resistor R3 limits the charging current. Image #2 shows the circuit for a small LED-based lamp. It is simple and lowcost. Six 10mm white LEDs (LED2 through LED7) are used here. Just connect them in parallel and drive directly by a 3.6V DC source. You can use either pencil-type Ni-Cd batteries or rechargeable batteries as the power source.
Assemble the circuit on a general purpose PCB and enclose in a small box. Mount RCA socket on the front panel of the box and wire RCA plug with cable for connecting the battery and LED based lamp to the charger.
With this circuit, you can save on your electricity bills by switching to alternative sources of power.

Online mega-retailer Amazon may be planning to release an Android-based gaming console by the end of the year, if rumors prove correct.

Citing "those ... who have knowledge of the in-development hardware," Game Informer claims Bezos & Co. may be readying the device to ship by "Black Friday" – the day after the US Thanksgiving holiday, traditionally the start of the holiday shopping season, which this year falls on November 29.

Details of the plan are virtually nonexistent, but this isn't the first time El Reg has heard murmurs that Amazon may be planning to broaden its hardware line beyond its Kindle e-readers and tablets.

In May, The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon was operating a secretive facility in Apple's hometown of Cupertino, California, known only as "Lab 126," where it was working on at least four hush-hush hardware projects.

Two of those were said to be Amazon-branded smartphones, a perennial topic of discussion among rumormongers. A third was thought to be some kind of set-top device for streaming Amazon Prime video (Chromecast competitor, anyone?).

Details of the fourth project were less clear. The WSJ reckoned it might be some sort of standalone streaming audio player, but those are a bit passé in the age of the smartphone. Could an Android-powered gaming console be the answer?

Maybe, but if Amazon is planning to get into the gaming biz this Christmas, it will face tough competition. Both Microsoft and Sony are expected to launch their next-generation consoles in the same period, and many customers have already preordered one or the other.

Amazon's wouldn't be the first gaming device based on Android, either. Nvidia released its portable Shield device at the end of July, and sales of the Kickstarter-funded Ouya microconsole have been modest.

Still, there's reason to believe Amazon may be able to outflank these competitors in the Android gaming market, owing to its strong brand and its mature sales infrastructure.

The Amazon Appstore already works on most current Android devices as well as Kindle tablets, so adapting it for an Android-based console should be trivial. Earlier this week, Amazon opened its developer program to web-based content in addition to native apps, giving Appstore customers access to offerings from a wide range of developers. And when your Reg hack checked on Friday, Amazon's top ten bestselling apps were all games.

Hardware MoodLamp Based on LED


Long time ago I came across this page http://tobe.nimio.info/project/moodlamp, where Toon Beerten created a Moodlamp using a PIC16F628 µC. I remember that back then I didn’t have much knowledge on µC’s programming, so the first thing I did was to buy a Arduino board, and since that time I have been learning a lot and making many different projects with it…[ ]

Time has passed, I’ve built the breadboard prototype, then the first version, using only one layer (which is a good version if you want to etch your own PCB). Always wanted to make the project public as an Open Hardware, but due my lack of time, I never did, until I arrive in Genova. I then decided to make a second version of the board, two layers, the ability to program the µC without removing it from the socket (for programing you will need an Arduino, FTDI or USB-to-serial cable) and some available pins for those who want’s to add more features to the board, like a temperature sensor or another kind of sensor.
